Château le Rosey Estate
The current owner is an architect who grew up in the Château and presently lives in a private wing. The Château is currently set up to organise events and can host between 60-120 guests. It offers seminars, workshops, cooking classes, weddings, birthdays, company dinners, private parties, bed and breakfast and wine tastings.
The property is arranged over 4 levels and includes modern facilities such as a spa, wellness area, indoor swimming pool, private banquet halls, wine cellars and a professional kitchen. Château le Rosey Estate, Vineyards
The vineyards cover 4 ½ hectares surrounding the Château on a gentle slope which ranges from 430-470 metres above sea level with a South-facing exposure. The density of vines exceeds 6000 vines per hectare and are planted on a clay/limestone soil.
The estate is proud to use ecologically and environmentally friendly viticulture methods and is certified as biodynamic and totally harvested by hand.
There are 11 Rosey Estate grape varieties producing 15 different red, white and rosé wines. The entire vinification process is carried out at the estate and it produces between 20,000-25,000 bottles per year. Retail prices average CHF 22.00 per bottle.
In 2018 the estate’s hard work paid off, with the Garanoir, Garanoir Barrique and Gamaret Barrique wines receiving distinction 1er Grand Cru .
